Residents of Sera Village received bursary application forms during a local outreach exercise aimed at ensuring students access education support easily and without unnecessary costs.
Earlier today, the MCA Office visited Sera Village for the distribution of bursary application forms to students and parents within the community. The exercise was part of an effort to ensure that education support reaches families directly at the grassroots level.
During the session, residents were guided through the bursary application process and informed that the entire process has been simplified so that people can apply from within their own villages. Parents and students were assured that no one should spend money when applying for the bursary, including costs related to printing or photocopying documents.
Community members were also encouraged not to incur transport expenses traveling to other centers to submit their forms. Instead, once the applications are completed, they can be submitted through local administrative offices such as the Village Headman, Chief, or Sub-Chief, where they will be collected and forwarded accordingly.
The engagement also gave residents an opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification about the bursary program, ensuring that everyone understands the process clearly and can apply without difficulties.
The MCA Office continues to bring services closer to the people to make sure that every deserving student has a fair chance to benefit from education support within the ward.
