Strategic Development Plans
Garsen North Ward is committed to sustainable development that improves the quality of life for all residents. Our strategic development plans are aligned with national and county development priorities.
Priority Areas
- Infrastructure Development: Roads, bridges, water supply systems, and electricity connectivity
- Education & Youth: School facilities improvement, vocational training centers, youth empowerment programs
- Healthcare: Health facility improvements, maternal health services, disease prevention programs
- Agriculture & Livestock: Input provision, extension services, market linkages
- Social Protection: Support for vulnerable groups, cash transfer programs
Development Timeline
Projects are implemented on a phased basis in line with budget availability and seasonal considerations. Community participation is encouraged at all stages of planning, implementation, and monitoring.
Ward Development Fund
The Ward Development Fund (WDF) is dedicated to financing projects identified by residents. Community members are encouraged to propose development projects through the public participation forums held regularly by the MCA office.
