How much money can I receive?
The bursary amount varies depending on the level of study, the applicant's financial situation, and the number of applicants. University students may receive more than secondary school students. The Ward Bursary Committee determines the final allocation.
Can I apply if I received a bursary last year?
Yes. Students can apply for bursary support every year. However, priority may be given to first-time applicants and those with the highest financial need. You must submit a fresh application each cycle.
Where do I submit my application?
Applications should be submitted in person at the Ward Office in Garsen North. You can also drop off forms at your local Chief's office. We recommend submitting early to avoid last-day rushes.
How will I know if my application is approved?
Approved applicants will be notified through the Ward Office. You can also check on this website for status updates. Funds are disbursed directly to your institution — you will see the credit on your school fee balance.
